Trying out the MinIT for the first time! This is a Lambda QC run using a 10 month old library prep kit. It’s definitely keeping up with with the base-calling.

Not bad for one of our early runs. Still need to optimise the concentration of starting material, but pretty pleased with this!

Science hive mind - excellent substitutes for the previously MoBio-now- Power Soil DNA kit? price hikes have made it $10/prep, and that's not sustainable for my group's usage.

Are you seriously suggesting that editing gave "panda-like spots to sheep"? and many of the other abnormalities you discuss (e.g. large toungues) are well known artifacts of *cloning* as discussed by the researchers you interviewed but NOT in your article's misleading headline

2018. We took science and DNA sequencing to the people, the farmers. And now it’s all I want to do. Forever. Thank you all who made this journey possible. We keep disrupting 🚀

Obviously, we’ve got this kind of thing in our sights. Very suitable for nanopore platform. First modified base callers are just appearing.

A single Nanobind extraction sufficed for several successful SMRTcells and three nice flow cells. Still DNA left on that tube at lab. Easy job!
