hi bloggers. hope you’ve been enjoying your week. it’s been great around the studio with lots of things in the works as always. thanks for the many comments about the “tattered floral challenge”, it’s a fun way to kick off spring for sure. in fact over 100 people have uploaded their project to the blog for the challenge since i announced it just 5 days ago – wow! i’ve also asked many of my designer friends to share their take on the challenge and will be posting links to their blogs when they do (and be sure to check them out since they will be sharing the tattered love with a giveaway)…

I am so overcome with excitement that I can hardly contain myself! I am a Tim Holtz newbie with old art roots that span well back into the last century.
This last week I have been on a HUGE spree accumulating necessary items such as the Vagabond machine, inks, tools, and dies. It has been a beautiful sensory trip!!! I could not pass up much. The colors, the textures, the shapes, the lines all spoke to me begging me to join them in the journey.
Being that I am soooo infected with this amazing line of products it seems that I too will be joining the tattered floral challenge. The ideas are forming and the tickle in my tummy and raised hairs on my arms will persist until the challenge is complete. Oh goodness…what a ride!!!
The Tattered Flower died is one of my very favorite dies. Loved Tammy’s tutorial on the crinoline flowers, have to get me some crinoline.
