hey bloggers – well the exciting new website has definitely come with a few technical issues. apparently with the move, my current host cannot handle the new site which is why it has been crashing, getting errors, and hasn’t moved all of the older blog posts to the new site. that being said, we are in the process of moving the entire website and blog to a new host. this process will take several days so if you notice glitches or errors during that time, please know we are working to get everything back to running faster and smoother. also, if you’ve emailed mario or myself and have not received a reply within 24 hours, please resend your email. during this transition i will not be able to blog, but will post again as soon as the move is complete. thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding…t!m

tim, the glitches are not entirely unexpected. I helped to create and take live, a medical information site for a hospital system. We tested and tested and tested some more and STILL had issues and problems after the system went live, before it finally was running smoothly. If anyone understands what you are going through, it’s me. So just be aware that we are watching and waiting patiently. Have fun with the bugs.
Oh well, I’m sure it’ll be fixed and running better in no time!

I wondered what was going on when I couldn’t pull up the webiste earlier today. Glad to hear you guys are on top of it.

“embrace imperfection”, then move on. A host that can’t handle the site (assuming the traffic) is a great thing for you. Means the masses are visiting. Much better than hearing crickets chirp on a lonely site. Trust me, we will all be there when you are fully back. If everyone else is anything like me, we all have a Tim Holtz addiction. Thank you for sharing with the world your designing talents.

Thanks for the info. I panicked yesterday when I tried to visit the blog & kept getting error messages. Visions of never being able to visit the blog flashed through my mind lol.
