hello again bloggers… just wanted to make a quick post since several of you have posted and emailed me asking me to put up pictures of my QVC samples of the Grungebook/Tin kit i designed specifically for QVC. this kit is not available in stores (which many of you have asked), so if you’re interested, i think there are still some left on QVC.com to order online. here are the projects i shared on-air using this kit in a variety of ways: as a simple photo album holding 60 photos (the tin painted black, wiped off, and covered with fragments), a recipe book (the tin covered with old recipe’s from a cook book using gel medium and fragments), a travel journal (the plain tin covered with fragments), and a diary book (the tin alcohol inked and covered with fragments). definitely lots of fun – one of my favorites i’m telling you… i know many of you have one on the way to you from QVC so enjoy the inspiration, have fun creating your own, and thanks again for sharing this amazing adventure…t!m

Hey Tim__,
Wow! I’m making history…I’m the first one on your blog today! How cool is that?? I’m thinking about what “we” can make with my new Tim Holtz tin and grungebook. I only have 924 pieces of grungeboard coming and four ink pads, I’m sure we can think of something creative! (ha,ha)
Can’t wait to see you!
Luv, Shell
This message is actually for Tim’s bloggers…
We all know that Tim has just about done it all. However, there is one thing on his creative venture that he hasn’t made it to…yet! And I believe we can make it happen. Let’s get him on the Oprah show! I have been emailing her producers for the last two years, and so far she hasn’t realized what she’s been missing. Any ideas to get him there that you could share would be AWESOME! Let’s do it! What do you say????

Good evening t!m….
Thanks for the inspiration. I purchased two of these kits yesterday…wish I had purchased more 🙁 So many good ideas!
I also purchased the grungeboard…not that I needed more but who could pass up a deal like that!! Are you going to be doing something like the 12 tags of Christmas this December? I hope so..they were so much fun.
In response to the Oprah idea….I think if she was given something that was inspired by t!m…like a recipe book distressed and using grungeboard, fragments, cracklepaint she (Oprah) might catch the fever…
Beautiful Creations, Thanx Tim!!
WOW – Congrats on the QVC spot! LOVE the tin with matching book — You GO!!!
Tracy
this is FANTASTIC! oprah would LOVE this and if she doesn’t, your charm alone will work! hugs, rachel
OH, thanks for these pictures! God forbid I ever come up with such great ideas…..sometimes I think I missed the inspiration train.

Hey Tim! I absolutely love the recipe book! Last year I made books for my family with Christmas cookie recipies tucked into pockets, but nothing near as cool as yours! PS-That Tucker is growing like a weed, and he’s so lucky you are charting his life!!!! How ’bouts I send you some fotos of my kids and see what you do with them? You can have them as ‘adopted nieces’…You up for that? lol, have a great night and better tomorrow…
