I can’t believe its been almost four years since I did this stupid wolfsong film.
If I were to do this film now, I would have approached it differently. The story was about a mother wolf who breaks in a hunter’s den and rescues her cub, only to find it a motionless trophy. She sings a lullaby so her offspring could sleep. Little does she know that a young naive hunter stalks her through the forest.
Watch the original film from 2013:
“I will avenge my father… Have you seen any sailors lately?”
Shenmue fan art! I’ve been listening to the soundtrack.
I recently just finished doing the first pass of the main beat boards for my next short film. It took me a damn long time to figure out the type of story and world I wanted to work with. I was really disappointed with how my last film “tiny nomad” turned out, so I wanted to salvage that with another film.
Here are two colored panels from the beat boards. South east asian setting.
I beat The Last Guardian twice. I’ve waited for this game since the end of my High School. I also felt the Charlie Brown Christmas spirit in me. Here’s some Last Guardian fan art done in the style of Peanuts!
I am currently developing another pipeline process video where I animate a character, and composite it to make it emulate traditional animation cels. While that’s happening, I recently announced a little challenge on twitter where people should attempt their own fake cel challenge. Here were the rules I posted and the information I posted about it.
Posting it here on tumblr for the tumblr community. You guys should try it!
Im attempting the fake cel look again! Was watching some blu rays of 80s anime and it made me get a better understanding of the cel look!
This was based off a loop dance I did for a stream
The 80s cartoon girl I did comes back haha.

Recreate a 2D animation shot from scratch to its final video!
In this episode, we will animate the new opening sequence for the Powow 2D Animation Workshop. For our character animation, we will be using Adobe Flash/Animate CC utilizing traditional animation techniques. For our background, we will paint our elements in Photoshop, and redistribute them in layers for compositing. Finally, we’ll be combining our character and our backgrounds together - adding post filters, color correction, lighting effects and more!
Includes:
3.5 Hours of Footage
-Animation Flash File
-Background Photoshop File
-After Effects Work File
Required Programs for work files:
-Adobe Flash CS6/Animate CC
-Photoshop CS6 or higher (CC)
-After Effects CS6 or higher (CC)
Although earlier versions might work, some features may be missing (But I don’t really use any version exclusive feature)
Here were some drawings that I put on my tweeeter. Sorry this account has been very quiet. I was busy with CTN last week, and I am still drained from it.

The stream I recorded from yesterday is now up online. It’s me compositing a 2D animated shot (Actually, two!) in After Effects from start to finish. This is for one of my projects of I’ve been on and off. Again, compositing is also known as “Post Production”, “Final Image” or “Polishing the poo”. I talk about direction, making stylistic choices, composition, cheating certain effects, etc.
