Small town girl Daisy (Miriam McDonald of Degrassi: The Next Generation fame) attempts to start anew, leaving her steady boyfriend and country life to go to a New England college. She soon becomes embroiled in the manipulation of the secretive feminist Ivy Society, a clandestine club who has many members as well as finds a new love interest in Blake, the dean's son.

Having nothing at all to do with the first three Poison Ivy films, this is merely a slightly below average soft-core (the DVD sexes up the version that debuted on television) female version of "the Skulls". If you've seen that aforementioned film or any of the others of it's ilk, nothing here will catch you by a surprise, as it's simply a paint-by-numbers type of affair. Seeing Miriam shed some clothes might be worthwhile for fans of hers, but that's all there is to recommend this movie.

Watched this last night and it's alright, a remake of the 1995's film starring the young & sexy Alyssa Milano.
The virgin and repressed Charlotte Hawthorn joins the university from a Catholic school with a scholarship for participating in the fencing team. She shares the room with Nicole and tells that her mother died and she is alone. Charlotte has thalassemia and is forced to use medicine. She gets a job working as waitress in a coffee shop managed by Chris. Soon she meets the fencing coach, who is also responsible for the literature classes, Professor Cole, and her mate Eliza becomes jealous with his treatment toward Charlotte. Soon she has daydreams and the mystic Daciana that is the owner of a store explains her fate in world as a vampire hunter, but Charlotte does not believe in her until her friends die.
In my opinion, we could make without the female nudity and the lesbian sex scene, wasn't necessary, sure it was nice but forgettable. Also the abrupt ending was bad.
All in all, a one star outta five for me.

My god, it's poor, it's dull, it makes no sense.

Natalia Dyer plays Davina; a very imaginative and passionate girl who takes care of her sick mother, she likes to fantasize about leaving her lame home and venturing out.

She meets a young "hipster cool" type guy named Sterling played by Peter Vack and is immediately smitten (or in LOVE....). Apparently he's her get-away ticket from her boring life.

Basically, she abandons her mom, and who fuckin' knows what happens with her mom, sheesh. She calls once to check up on her, what the hell?!

So the two love birds go on a road trip to 'as she puts in' anywhere but here; and soon enough his aggressive side comes out, only because she triggered him, and by that I mean; earlier in the film; Vack's character's apparent backstory is his father was cruel to him and he's said he doesnt want to turn out like him.... LOL she brought out that side out of you tho... so she keeps instigating and then he becomes violent and verbally abusive. Still, she stays and tags along with him, causing mischief; such as stealing from a thrift store and breaking into a motel for sexy time, (forgot to mention she lost her virginity to him, and it awakened her, I guess; throughout the film we see fantasy like sequences such as... unicorns... wow...).

It gets worse, she doesn't like the life style or the fact her "knight in shiny armor" is actually a prick. Thanks to her.

She wants out and so she breaks it off. Much to his anger and dismay.

The final ending includes a very graphic and super awkward (for me, that is) sex scene/rape?scene... its hard to watch, especially since 'fun fact: Dyer was 16 when this film was made'...

Im all for empowerment and feminism or whatever but this film is whack to the core, it makes no sense, its not good. Its boring. Storyline wise; it's terrible, and to believe folks help Kickstarter this crap is dumb, good job fools.

But some good things I'll say; are the actors, both Dyer and Vack play good roles, the animation sequences with the unicorns are actually pretty cute and nice to look at, cgi/clay-animation are the best.

This film bites, and if you like it, or feel some type of way with it, good for you..

I thought it sucked.
