At Its Best!
Riggers Loft Wine Company is a collective tasting room, winery, and cidery. We are home to R&B Cellars, Carica Wines, Irish Monkey Cellars, Barrell + Ink, and Far West Cider Company.
This historic building that once played a vital role in building the Liberty and Victory ships of World War II is now a working winery and cidery with a beautiful, comfortable tasting room. It is chic with a gritty urban feel that reflects the building's history and showcases history-in-the-making on San Francisco Bay.
What You Get
At Riggers Loft you will discover the most extraordinary view of the San Francisco Bay. Sailboats drift by as you sip your wine, engage with friends new and old, and perhaps decide to stay on for the stunning sunset. Here on the very edge of the Bay you may even spot a sea lion or two!
You will also discover outrageously delicious, award-winning wines that are made right here at Riggers Loft from some of the best vineyards in Northern California. Or you can try the beautifully made, artisanal hard cider.
You also can expect to be greeted and served by friendly, attentive and knowledgeable tasting room staff. And don't be surprised to see the winemakers hanging out! They love sharing their wine and their stories, and especially a glass of wine with guests.
Food & Wine Pairing
Experience delicious cuisine from our in-house food truck Street Eats run by chef Paul Skrentny. From a diverse and changing menu you can choose a wide range of foods to share with friends and pair with your wines and ciders.

Live Music
Every Friday and Saturday features local musicians – from a single jazz pianist or guitarist to duos to small bands. Styles of music run the gamut from mellow jazz to upbeat Rock covers. It changes all the time, so come and discover your new favorites.
Note: Friday's music is 5:30-8:30pm.
Saturday's live music is usually 5:30-8:30pm, but occasionally it is in the afternoon (2:30-5:30pm) - so definitely check the EVENTS calendar below.
Voluntary $5 Cover Charge Per Person: We are asking folks to particiapte in keeping live music at Riggers Loft. We love providing a space for musicians to perform and sharing it with our customers. But we can't do it alone. Please help us keep live music at Riggers with a $5 cover charge whenever there is live music. Thank you!!!

Paint & Sip
Every 4th Thursday is Paint & Sip Night ~ In collaboration with Pinot's Palette Alameda.

With a wine glass in one hand and a paintbrush in the other, this is your time to let your inner artist loose. You will be lead step-by-step by our friends from Pinot's Palette Alameda through the process of creating your very own masterpiece, which you will take home at the end of the night.

Directions
Take I-580 to Canal / Garrard exit. Turn towards the bay and follow Canal in the Port. Continue on Canal as it winds and winds around the perimeter of the Port. When you can go no further and the bay is in front of you, you have arrived.

Classic flavors, old-fashioned uncomplicated winemaking, remarkable varietal character, all with finesse and mouth-filling structure. We specialize in both the "Princes" of reds - classic Cabernet Sauvignon, barrel-aged Merlot, rich/dark Syrah and pasta-friendly Sangiovese, and the "Upstarts" - those zesty Zinfandels, assertive Primitivo, deep Tannat and spirited Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes plus yeasts, manual labor plus long barrel ageing. Not one like any of the others! |
