This is a challenging time. As part of our deep and lasting commitment to our community and our team at Piccolo, we have decided to close our restaurants for the time being to help “flatten the curve.” The difficult decision to close our restaurants during the COVID-19 Pandemic is based on our belief that we are part of a greater whole, and that we are responsible for taking care of our extended community, our family, and our friends.
Our mission is to serve and to give back to the people who have helped us grow. We believe that each of us must do our part to help. We are all affected by this pandemic. Our focus will always be on the well being of our community and our team. Our promise to you is that we will stay in communication about our business updates. Piccolo is an Italian restaurant located in Portland, Maine serving foods inspired by the humble cuisines of Southern and Central Italy. Piccolo is a modern take on classic rustic country food with a focus from Calabria and Abruzzi. Everything coming from the kitchen is made with the best local produce, fish, meat, and the finest imported Italian ingredients.

Enjoy a blind tasting menu while seated at our chef's counter. Our chefs will select and cook a multi-course seasonal menu for you. All of the courses are chosen just for the evening and served by the chefs so you can ask questions and learn about the food. We look forward to seeing you in soon!
