a Sunday blessing

It's been way too long since I posted a Sunday blessing.

Spent yesterday in the yard and these hydrangeas broke off while pruning;

I think they will give more joy here than out in my front yard - 

don't you agree?

The desert and the parched land will be glad;

the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.

Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom;

it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.

Isaiah 35:1-2

breathe deeply

my husband brought this dried lavender bouquet home

from the office.

someone just brought them in to share.

love them offset against my dining room table

that was my grandmothers.

it seems that someone of the black furry kind likes them too

as there are lavender kernels spread all over the table each morning.

Matteo's a closet lavender addict - hides his obsession and

only does it at night!

Spring has sprung!

I toned down the colors of the flora around us

for those of you still in cooler climates...

didn't want to stun your eyes with too much saturation.   :)
