Blue Patch Puppy -- All Dressed Up

Hi Everyone!!

I have made a card

for my younger daughter

and she just LOVES blue on

everything!!  So, she of course

wanted a blue patch puppy on her

card instead of a brown or tan one... :)

The new challenge over on the All Dressed

Up blog is "USE A BUTTON" so that is what I did...

I used 3 buttons in a sewing themed card along with

coloring a BLUE patch puppy which she happily named,

"BLUEBERRY" :)  My final card for ADU and it's a silly one!!

Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog

to join in with the "Use a Button" challenge.  :) :)

Just remember, that you need to use an image from

the All Dressed Up etsy shop or one of the FREEBIES.

I hope that you have a wonderful & relaxing weekend!! xo

I added them to this A2 pop-up card base.

The current challenge on the ADU challenge

blog is "Clean and Simple" ~~ you can play along

I wrote to Karen in January or February and asked her if we would be getting this image

soon for the spring release!!  When I saw it in the March line up, I was so happy!!

I am not a cat person, but I am obsessed with images that have an umbrella,

Simple Thanks -- Color Throwdown Guest Designer for February

For my BLOG CANDY, please CLICK HERE.

Happy Wednesday!!
Hope you are all doing well!!
Today is my last day as a guest for the Color
Throwdown!!  We have some really warm colors
for you this week and they made me SWEAT!!! hahaha!!
Ok, I'm not really joking here... these colors stressed me out!!
But, I gave it a go and came up with a very simple card of Thanks.

I used some of Mona Pendleton's Contemporary Roses stamps for the base

of my card stamped in the 2 colors: Tangerine Tango & So Saffron.

Then I added the lil inker cutting plate over the top of them.

Layered with a black card stock piece and then used the

Taylored Expressions "band-it" die to finish is off!!

Where's the character, you might be thinking??

Well, I had a little mishap and was only

using one eye to create this card...!!

Let's just say that it's lucky that

I got a card finished for

the challenge at all!!

Here are the colors for this week's challenge!!

I have had a really strange week with a run of bad

luck so I'm not even going to promise when I will be

around to go visiting...  It seems that every time I open

my mouth lately, I have utterly jinxed myself!!  :( Do you

ever have weeks like that..!?   So, I hope to see you all soon!!

Let's go see what the other

Color Throwdown ladies have today...

Barbara Anders

Broni Holcombe

Joan Ervin

Lori Tecler

Melody Rupple

Monika Davis

Vickie Zimmer

Wanda Cullen

I had the pleasure of meeting Broni from the Color Throwdown

at a copic workshop this past weekend about 30 minutes from my home!!

She was a delight to chat with & I was so surprised how close we live to each other!!

Thank you to all of the Color Throwdown ladies for having me as a guestie this month!!

I really did have tons of fun with them and color challenges are my absolute favorites!!  :) :)

Tobi with Pinwheel -- YNS Fun Friday

For my BLOG CANDY, please CLICK HERE.

Hi Everyone!!

Happy Friday to YOU!!!
I have a sweet image for you today
from the YNS digital line of stamps!!

Here is Tobi with Pinwheel & she is just too cute!!
Remember the HUGE snowfall that we got last week?
Today was nearly 80 degrees outside!!  What a difference!!

Yesterday I re-posted my blog candy winners from the mini candy
and posted a new linky tool for this month's candy!!  You can see it HERE.

For the YNS challenges, you can either use the sketch or the inspiration pic.

I used the inspiration pic this week for my card!!

My inspiration was from all of the textures and the busy

look of the pic.  It reminded me of the pinwheels on the paper!!

I hope that you have a really nice and relaxing weekend planned!!

My goal is to really enjoy this weekend, because things are going to get

really busy for me again quite soon!! I have joined another design team &

a larger workload is coming in March.  This next week will be my last "hurrah"!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes

Crafty Sentiments Designs: Anything Goes

4 Krafty Girlz: #12 Anything Goes

Make It Monday: Anything Goes

Milk Coffee: Girly Challenge

Take care and I will see you soon for visiting!!
