Two Year Old Boy Killed By Alligator at a Disney Resort, Personal Injury Lawsuits To Follow
Florida has had another tragedy occur where Personal Injury Attorney‘s are lining up to try and take this case. This time at The Grand Floridian, a long standing Disney Resort destination for thousands of vacationers a year. A 2-year-old boy was snatched off a man made resort beach by a resident Florida alligator and dragged to the bottom of the lagoon, resulting in the toddler’s death.
This occurred only two days after the deadliest shootings in modern day times at the Pulse Night club in Orlando early Sunday morning. On Tuesday, June 14th, around 9pm, a family vacationing from Nebraska was at the resort relaxing on the shallow edge of The Seven Seas Lagoon, watching their two year old son Lane Graves splashing and playing in the water. The boy’s father Matthew Graves said the Alligator appeared without warning and grabbed the toddler and proceeded to drag him under water. The father claimed he wrestled with the gator trying to free his son but couldn’t contain him and he got away with the two year old clinched in his jaws.

An extensive search was conducted for the boy for 16 hours before they finally found the toddlers lifeless body at the bottom of the lagoon. An autopsy proved that the cause of death was initially drowning, but the child suffered severe wounds from the mouth of the gator. Five alligators were caught in the lagoon, and later euthanized to determine if they were involved in Lane’s death.
The Walt Disney Company has said on record that they will be adding warning signs about alligators, but have been ridiculed for only posting no swimming signs at the Lagoon. The father claims they were not swimming, and had they aware of Alligators swimming freely in the lagoon, they would not have been at the waters and little Lane would still be with us.
Many Florida Personal Injury Lawyer‘s have stated that this was a negligence lawsuit waiting to happen. Anytime a business harbors dangerous predators that could attack humans all necessary precautions should be taken to provide a level of protection for the public. A company as huge as Disney should already know this and the fact that they have closed down the area where the boy was attacked and have construction workers building barricades is an indication that they know they were greatly at fault. Donald Trump stays in controversy as he claims he’s been misinterpreted again.
This time he has angered US military veterans activists for allegedly commenting on Tuesday that the U.S. Troops stole millions of dollars that were designated for the rebuilding of Irag during the war.
