Historic Boston Incorporated (HBI) works with local partners to transform at-risk historic buildings in Boston’s neighborhoods for new sustainable uses.

Historic Boston Incorporated is a non-profit organization that invests in historic buildings whose same day loans renewal supports the vibrancy of Boston’s neighborhoods. HBI provides a full array of development support for its projects including site acquisition, technical expertise, project financing, and construction.

HBI currently manages a portfolio of five properties that it has recently rehabilitated, and three that are in development: the Fowler Clark Epstein Farm (1786) in Mattapan, the Upham’s Corner Comfort Station (1912) in Dorchester, and the Roslindale Substation (1911) in Roslindale.
