I just started reading The Valiant and I’m not too far in yet but I’m enjoying it so far!! The stories really aren’t alike but Fallon’s personality kind of reminds me of Kestrel from The Winner’s Trilogy! ⠀⠀⠀⠀

I finished something for the tlc shipweeks! Cress and Thorne are my favorite ship so I wanted to draw something for them first ^^ It’s been a long time.

I love that Iko gets the spotlight in this series (this is only Volume 1!) and I loved spending time with my favorite couples again! I basically devoured this in one sitting… except now I have to wait forever for Volume 2! Why do I do this to myself…?⠀⠀⠀
Are you a big Lunar Chronicles fan? Will you read Wires and Nerve? This was actually my first graphic novel and it was so much fun! If you haven’t read a graphic novel before, this is a great one to be your first! ⠀⠀⠀

Loved the overall premise of this one and it was very well done! I definitely felt growth and more cohesiveness from the first book to this one with a great lead in to the third (which I now want to pick up ASAP but have a few more things on the TBR before I do)!
My fourth read of the year (when I finish it) is Beastly Bones, the second in the Jackaby series (which I thought was a trilogy but is not. Oops)! These books are a fun nod to Sherlock Holmes with a paranormal focus and so far Jackaby and Beastly Bones have been easy, fun reads! ⠀⠀

Have you checked out the Bookout app? @bringmybooks introduced me (and other bloggers) to it with her blog post from the other day and I’m already obsessed! Show me a way to have infographics about me reading organized for me and I’m so in. It shows you have fast you read, keeps track of quotes (you can take photos instead of typing), and general thoughts! I wish you could be friends with people on the app BUT at the same time I kind of like that it’s not another social media app and is more focused on stats. ⠀⠀
