This amazing grid layout from Kelly Noel marks our final post of the day. We hope you’ve had a wonderful time and gleaned some inspiration from our awesome designers! (Just remember that you have until May 10th to link up your projects and be entered to win a $25 BG store gift card!)

Kelly: I love using grid designs for my layouts. They make things so fast and easy. For this layout, I used four photos sized at 2.5 x 2.5″ and then cut several of the Hipster papers to the same size to create a simple grid design. Then I simply added embellishments and journaling to each of the squares to finish off the look.

I love the way Shannon Tidwell highlighted the beautiful patterns in Mint Julep in circle form in her layout. Not only does it create dynamism, but it’s a great way to add white space to any project!

Shannon: The Mint Julep Collection is so soft and sweet, perfect for baby or girl layouts. There are so many pretty patterns that I couldn’t decide on which ones to use…so I used several. I punched circles in varying sizes to create a splattering of color and pattern. I also mixed in a few Candy Buttons and spattering of paint. To frame the photo I used the decorative flaps from the envelopes.

Punch or cut circles out of patterned paper and use as the main elements on your project!

I am such a fan of the way Els Brige incorporates white space into her layout by allowing the bottom half to be a resting point for the eye. P.S. Her use of Mint Julep is pretty amazing as well!

Els: I’m totally in love with the Mint Julep papers and embellishments for scrapping those sparkly girl pictures that I have. I chose to work with a pink and yellow color scheme for this page, with a small touch of that fabulous green. On the right side, next to the pictures, I used one of the Snippets to write down my date and a small bit of journaling. I backed the “dream big” chipboard sticker up with a bit of the pink solid paper to make it stand out against the other embellishments and patterned papers. I thought this would make the perfect title for this layout of my daughter blowing out her birthday candles. In the lower left corner, there’s an utterly cute woven label of the Mint Julep collection. Some candy buttons finish it all up.

Create a project where the top half features all of your photos and embellishments and the bottom half is left alone to allow for white space (similar to Els’ layout)!

I love when scrapbook supplies are put to use in ways other than traditional layouts. Today, Kelly Rasmussen did just that, as she created these adorable Mint Julep tags!

Kelly: I love to have pre-made elements on hand for last minute cards and gifts and these tags are perfect just for that. Each of the tags features some of the awesome stamps from the Mint Julep line along with papers from the 6×6 paper pad. You could easily add these to a layout, a card or tie on a gift or bouquet of flowers!
