Welcome to B@H! I am so happy you are here and hope you find inspiration from these pages! I just wanted to introduce myself and welcome you to peruse, comment, or ask questions.

I am a designer & stylist that loves luxury interiors. I share my take on them here in these pages with a more family friendly approach. I believe our homes are our sanctuaries. They should exude comfort. I also believe that everyone deserves a home that is full of style and reflective of their own unique personality.

I’ve worked with clients on their interiors in the past and I am excited to delve back into designing for others soon. We are working behind the scenes here to unveil a new boutique design service that will roll out with our relocation to Connecticut in 2017. Designing spaces is my true passion and I am always honored when someone entrusts me with their home.

Here on B@H, I share my passions. I love the art of making a home for my family. I cover the topics of interiors, our home renovation, entertaining, DIY ideas, my style tips and tricks, holiday and seasonal projects, and travel.

I’ve been married to the love of my life, Dave, for 13 years and have been blessed with two beautiful boys. We also have the sweetest little Maltese puppy named Zoey and she pops up in our stories from time to time. We just moved to Connecticut and love all that New England has to offer. When we aren’t working on our house or busy with our boys, we love to explore the outdoors, get creative in the kitchen, and hunt our favorite local shops for vintage pieces.

Kristin Cadwallader Bliss at Home

the story of B@H

Kristin Cadwallader started Bliss at Home in the June of 2012 to highlight and share her love of all things design and home. Kristin’s background in art and design helped her cultivate her personal design style and brand with distinction. Her interiors prove that you can blend high style with the comfort and ease of family living.

Kristin’s passion is the driving force behind the success of B@H. Her love of making a home and knack for telling a story have grown her brand and set her apart in a quickly growing industry.

In the first couple of years, as her projects began to be shared on reputable online sites like Elle Decor, HGTV, and Apartment Therapy, she began working with brands on a regular basis. She’s worked hand-in-hand with brands to create original digital content featuring beautiful interior spaces, entertaining content, and styled interiors. She has also freelanced and created content for brand websites and online magazines.

In the 4 years since B@H began, Kristin’s voice and style have resonated with readers, major brands, and print publications. Her style has attracted the eye of major magazines like Better Homes and Gardens and established brands like Kohler.

Her blog and work have been featured in the print publications Better Homes and Gardens magazine, HGTV magazine, and USA Today Home. Numerous reputable online media outlets have featured her blog and work including One Kings Lane, Style Me Pretty Living, Domino, The Everygirl, House Beautiful, and Good Housekeeping to name a few.

Kristin is always looking ahead at new ventures and how B@H will evolve and branch out. Her passion for designing and love for her blog continue to inspire her career path.

When Kristin is not busy creating for B@H, she enjoys being with her family and friends. In her free time you might catch her honing her photography skills, hunting for vintage finds, or experimenting in the kitchen.

There are several things I envisioned for my life as my 20-something self. NONE OF THEM included getting married a few years later, buying my childhood home and moving back to the Midwest, having kids, or a dog in a pink sweater Now, I can’t imagine it any other way. I’m glad I trusted the path He planned and not my own .
