CONTACT //
Hello there. I am thrilled that you are reaching out. Because I sincerely value your time (and mine) there is a better than good chance that I can answer your question right now. How about that for service?
It’s like a pick-your-own-adventure:
RECIPE QUESTIONS // Try googling your Q. Chances are really good that you will find the answer a lot faster using the Google than if you wait for me to respond. (And chances are really good that I am going to have to Google it myself anyway, so let’s cut out the middle man and get you back to cooking.) It is also likely that I have answered it already in the FAQs, so give that a look too.
GUEST POSTING // I would like to help out everyone that asks me to accept their guest post, however at this time I am not accepting any. I do however occasionally guest post for others. I welcome the opportunity to speak to your audience if it is the right fit.
AD SPACE // I have made the decision to remove all of the ads on this site. (You can read more about my decision to do that here.)
SPONSORED POSTS // I’m no longer offering any sponsored posts.
PRODUCT REVIEWS & GIVEAWAYS // I am always flattered when businesses want me to try their products or endorse their Kickstarter campaigns and promote them on Baked Bree. I understand how hard it can be to get eyeballs on your products, and I wish that I could help everyone that asks. That being said, I get a lot of requests. In fact, I could make product reviews the main focus of this blog. Obviously, it isn’t, and when I do review something it is more often than not something that I have purchased myself and just happen to love.
If you do choose to send me something, please know that I reserve the right to give my honest opinion or no opinion at all. If you still want me to give it a go, fill out the form and I’ll send you my addy. I would also consider running a paid sponsored post, you can find out more about that here.
As for giveaways, I will consider running a giveaway only with a paid sponsored post. Giveaways are a lot back end work to host and again, I would like to help everyone out, but it just not possible.

Hi Bree,
I am in aw of your work. I aspire to be a cook. I have a boyfriend, a two year old and one on the way and I want so bad to become a confident cook. I feel bad when I hand them over a plate of iceburg lettuce salad and hamburger helper for dinner. I was wondering if you offered any kind of one on one classes? One of the great thing about my boyfriend is that he likes to help for dinner and loves cooking with me. So he would love to take a class with me if you did.
Anyhow, let me know what you think! Thanks in advance.
Take Care,
Angela E.
You are very sweet Angela. If you can read, you can cook. I am confident that you will be an excellent cook. I do not offer one-on-one classes, but I take step-by-step photos so that you can follow along. Start simple and build up your skills. Being organized helps also. If you have any specific questions, please send me an email. bree at baked bree dot com
Hello Bree. I’m Bree!! I somehow navigated to your blog and I too LOVE to cook and LOVE photography! It appears you are on the other side of the country from me. I look forward to reading your blog regularly.
Best wishes
Welcome Bree! I am so happy that you like my little blog.
Hi Bree!
I love your blog and your recipes! I have printed off a recipe before and didn’t have any trouble. I don’t know if something has changed but when I click on printer friendly version, it prints the entire post including pictures. I don’t think I had this problem when I printed a muffin recipe before. At that time, it just printed up the truly printer friendly version! Any insight? Running out of ink!!!
Thank you!
Hi Mary, did you click on the pictures to delete them? You can click on any section and it will shorten what is printed. If that doesn’t work, let me know.
good job: i just wanted to write and compliment you on sticking to the basics. i was trying to remember how to make a caramel sauce. i googled it and saw paula deans name come up. i thought “oh, that’s that loud chick with the annoying accent, she must have the basic caramel recip”. oh my god. she wrote “use kraft caramel squares, unwrap them” and that’s as far as i got. i went back to search and found martha stewart’s name. hmmmm…. she had something in her recipe including cornstarch and molasses. not what i was looking for. i found you next !! yeah, the traditional caramel recipe, well written and nicely done. thanks, madeleine (no need to respond)
Thank you very much Madeleine! Caramel was a thorn in my side for a very long time and I finally got it, so I needed to share it.
Hi Bree
What do you think about dutch ovens? I don’t own one, and am fine cooking certain things in the crock pot, but am starting to feel limited. Do you have one? Do you think the le cruset (sp?) is worth the $$?
I love, love, love your recipes, and am going to check out one of Dorie’s books from the library. You are inspiring my cooking, and my family just really couldn’t be happier 🙂
best,
anna
I love my Dutch Oven and use it all the time. I had a Le Creuset and burnt out the bottom…. long story. Anyway, I have a Martha Stewart one now that I bought at Macys for maybe $90. The quality is excellent and I see no difference. I do think that it is a very versatile pot and use it for a lot more than just slow cooked meals. I make a lot of soup in it as well.
Thank you for your sweet words. I appreciate them and you will love Dorie’s books. They are wonderful.
Bree
Congrats on the candy corn!!! I was just looking at your website to make those delicious candied pecans….I love them and am going to make the salad for tomorrows dinner. What do you think about having butternut squash soup to go along with it. Do you have any good reciepies for butternut squash soup? Thanks I just love your website:)
Thanks Kath! Butternut Squash Soup will be on the blog next week. Check back.
Thank you Bree for the candy corn parfait recipie! Congrats! G and I are going to be making it tomorrow for her Halloween party.
Yeah! Hope that you guys had fun.
Hey Bree,
My name is Josh and I love your chicken nuggets recipe! And I should know – I write a children’s book series called Super Chicken Nugget Boy! I hope you don’t mind, I put a link to it up on the Super Chicken Nugget Boy facebook page. Thanks for being a positive force for heathy chicken nuggets!
I love me a chicken nugget! I will have to check out your books. I am sure that my children would love them.
Bree,
My mom and I love your website and recipes – we both love food and photography! I’m not sure if I’m doing this right, but I wanted to enter your Picture Holiday Giveaway. After being deployed over the holidays a few years ago, I learned that my favorite thing about the holidays is my FAMILY! Without them, the holidays are just another date on the calendar.
Again, love your blog, thanks for all the great recipes and pics!
Kirsti
Thank you Kirsten! Leave a comment in the Picture Holiday post so that I can count it.

Bree,
This was my first thanksgiving away from home. My husband and I joined up with another couple that we have met in the new city we are in. The other couple just had a baby so we decided that we could take on a lot of the dinner. I used many of your recipes including the herb roasted turkey. Your recipe gave me confidence and it turned out wonderfully! I don’t even generally like turkey, but it was GOOD!
I am also trying to organize a cookie exchange party. Your recipes are practical and delicious!
I am so glad that your Thanksgiving turned out so well. And I hope that your cookie exchange goes well.
Hello Bree-
I found your blog through a friend and I am in LOVE! Everything here looks so amazing and it’s giving me courage to try cooking new things (I love the step by step pictures). I’m doing a cookie bake with friends this weekend and we’re going to try the Hot Chocolate cookies – I can’t wait. Anyway – I’m looking for some suggestions from you – I’m hosting a Christmas brunch for my hubby’s family and am looking for some yummy breakfast casseroles. Do you have any favorites?
Thank you Amanda! I like a French Toast Casserole. I like anything that you can make ahead of time. Something like this would be perfect. http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=10000001545796
This looks PERFECT! Thank you so much 🙂
my pleasure.

I use something that I would drink. I have a ton of wine in my house right now for some reason, and I just used what was open.
Hey Bree,
I am a friend of your mother inlaw, Carol. She gave me your website, and I have been enjoying it tremdously. This weekend I had company and tried your blue cheese, apple, mashed taters. They were wonderful and I will make them again. I had a few left over so I decided to make potato cakes. I added a little flour and an egg, and fried them in oil. WOW! They were sooo elegant!
Thanks for all the time you put in this website. It is awesome!
Linda
Hello Linda! Those potato cakes sound amazing. I will try that next time I make them for sure.
I am such a huge fan ; ) I can’t even begin to imagine where you find the time for all of this, but I think you are amazing! I check your blog everyday. I will admit it, I am addicted!
Would you ever consider doing a cooking/baking project with the preschool? Just a thought no worries if it doesn’t fit into your scheduole. Thank you for making my day brighter and my dinners more exciting!
Darcy
Thanks Darcy! Of course I will come do a project with the preschool. Anything that you would like for me to make, and I’ll do it.
I am so excited! I can’t wait to see what you create with the preschoolers.
Thanks again!
Darcy
Me too!
Hello Bree,
I am such a huge fan! I am a college student in a new apartment. I am just starting to cook for myself and your blog has been so helpful! I made your Black Bean Sliders the other night and they were delicious! My friends and family were raving about them. I am definitely going to make that a regular “menu item”. Thanks for blogging. You are an inspiration 🙂
Katie
You are so sweet Katie! I am glad that you liked them. I love those too. I haven’t made them in awhile. I need to add it to the list.
Hello I just discovered your blog and you inspire me! I wish I had the guts to cook with real butter and real flour! You rock! I am going to try some of your recipes for my handsome husband! I also love your pics…what brand of camera do you have?
Welcome Jacqueline! I have a Nikon D700. You can read more about my photography under the photography tab.
Hi Bree!
I just wanted to say hello and tell you that your blog and photos are exceptional! I would kill for that natural sunlight! My mom called me the other day and asked me if I had ever been to your site. She couldn’t stop raving about it:) I remember years ago that you said your little sister was named after Julia Child…so this all seems so logical! I am in the process of launching an online “treats” business and I also used my anthropologie wares for props in my photos!! Anyway, I look forward to reading your blog and making some of these delectable recipes:) So nice to see that you are well and your family is beautiful! Kisses!
Hi Tammy! Thank you so much! I will check out your new treat business. Sounds like fun. Hope that you are doing well!
I just found your blog and can you say Love! I truly do adore the pictures you take of your food and the effort you put into your blog. Way to Go! I am subscribed and looking forward to the yummy posts.
thank you Laura!
I got an email from you today for the ‘Cookie Dough Cupcakes” and cannot get it to print. I would love to make these. I checked your website but the recipe isn’t listed. Are you going to add it to the website. It might be easier to print from there.
Thanks so much, Sue
Dear Bree,
Let me start out by saying how wonderful your recipes are (: I’ve recently started seeing this new guy and he’s absolutely wonderful to me. Our first date is on Valentine’s Day, and we’re ordering food in and watching movies together. He’s in charge of dinner but I thought it’s be nice if I baked something for dessert. Have any ideas or new recipes? I’d really like to win this guy over, he’s really special to me.
Thank you,
Christina Jasmine
Does he like peanut butter? This one won my husband over. http://bakedbree.com/peanut-butter-pie
On those hot chocolate cookies, i have a large container of hot chocolate, how much of that would i need to to make them. I do not want to put to much in. thanks I do not have the small packets as the recipe states.
You will have to see how many ounces is in the packets and do the math.
