Introduction
▲ZEIT.world is our free DNS service with 10 locations around the globe. Point your domains and:
- Never configure DNS records manually again. Run one command to alias your deployment.
- Never worry about your server missing criticial record types (like ALIAS).
- Never worry about propagation times or global reach when shipping to production.
- Never go through the extra DNS config or stakeholder in order to ship to production.

2. Alias Your Deployments
When you deploy and subsequently run now alias we:
- Automatically configure your DNS records.
Don't worry about figuring outALIASorCNAMErecords.
Works for naked domains (i.e.: yourdomain.com withoutwww) - Intelligently redirect traffic without dropping any requests
If you change the underlying alias of a domain, you don't incur in any downtime. - Provision SSL certificates with Let's Encrypt on the fly.
We serve all your content over encrypted HTTP/2with only modern ciphers.
Let's say you want to deploy a Node.js app. First, you would deploy with
▲ nowThat will give you a URL to your new deployment (or list with now ls). Then run:
▲ now alias my-deployment-{uid} my-domain.comAnd you're set! now alias will verify the ownership of your domain and automatically configure it.
NOTE: If you are not using zeit.world, you can still point specific hosts to alias.zeit.co via ALIAS or CNAME manually.
