Two Republican Senators can defect and it will still pass because of the VP tie breaker. She probably means she needs to make sure there's no number 3 dissenter after her and Corker before she casts a meaningless show vote against. Same with Corker of course, who allowed it out of committee so he could pretend to vote no.

But if Roy Moore loses...that would make 3. If Corker was then to stick to his position, then almost all the pressure from both sides might fall on Collins. Just hypothesizing a possibility.

Also, I wouldn't completely rule out Jeff Flake or John McCain coming back around to vote it down.

This guys delivery makes it unwatchable for me. He should try making his point without all the theatrics.

That's not theatrics, he's saying exactly what he thinks about what's going on and he's not holding back. This video is a masterful exposition of the fake principles of the modern Republican Party.

Why do the tax payers need to pay your doctor bills and student loan debts?

First world, developed nations provide healthcare and college education to everyone in their population. This has the effect of raising living standards and lowering population growth. Look at poor countries with weak welfare systems and you will see millions living in poverty coupled with unsustainable, extreme population growth.

The better question is why should the majority of taxpayers pay for a tax cut for the ultra wealthy? Does that help the advancement of a nation? Senate tax bill would cut taxes of wealthy and increase taxes on families earning less than $75,000 by 2027

A 60% drop superdelegates is significant, but the entire concept of superdelegates is 100% anti-democratic. They will not have fixed the issue of superdelegates until there is a 100% drop in superdelegates. There is much more work to be done in order to fix the primaries.
