    This is a vital point. 's own actions have taken away DACA and TPS. We can't negotiate over a fundamentally useless wall with the things he should have never attacked in the first place.

    It was President who single-handedly took away DACA and TPS protections in the first place—offering some protections back in exchange for the wall is not a compromise but more hostage taking.

    There's so much going on, but I'm still thinking about the teachers in LA, and how ppl who haven't spent time in a classroom can have a difficult time *really* understanding how difficult it is to teach a class of more than 40 students. A task many of these educators have to do.

    I understand the limitations of resources, and that the size of every class can't be cut in a third or even cut in half, but it's important to note that when teachers ask for smaller class sizes, it's bc they know, more than anything, it's better for their students. Full stop.
