    Sorry if I'm being annoying with the stuff today, but I don't think the majority of people realize how much the internet experience they've come to take for granted depends on regulations that treat all data equally. Read the replies to this tweet for examples.

    A free & open internet has been invaluable to artists. It's like a small-town Mom & Pop store having the same visibility as Walmart. I owe my career to the exposure the internet gave me. If you have a story of how an open internet benefited you, reply with it here.

    1) The Internet works because the people who charge you for access to it cannot charge different amounts for different content, depending on their commercial interests. You pay the ISP, you get the whole Internet. What the FCC is doing is revoking that rule.
