But we sure seem to be learning to err on the side of thinking it will be, because when it is, whoof

and I'll go so far as to say DJT or the GOP Congress might actually come up with some policy this year that isn't manifestly terrible

anything Obama did MUST be a socialist plot because look who was doing it

The irony, of course, is that we saw this with BHO too: even his conservative policies were rejected because conservatives didn't trust him

but what we're seeing is a president that has not earned any trust and therefore a resistance that does not trust him in any fundamental way

in a vacuum it might be possible to have an argument about the specific words on the page of any specific executive order

like, his administration is being defined by secrecy, lies, cronyism—each step setting the bar higher for anyone to trust their intentions

there are folks trying to make logic arguments in favor of DJT doing this or that, but they're missing an important context: bad faith
