    . 🤔 Is CSS a programming language? 😄 No: neither by history nor purpose nor dev. But those who make this odd claim have a point: since led to invest vastly more in standards dev CSS has threatened to become such a lang. It’s confusing, and it’s not.

    AH—lots of websites secretly accessed phone sensors in the background (light, orientation) for fingerprinting, so Chrome Canary now warns/allows blocking of sensor access. Likely in stable builds in a few months, but Canary has it at chrome://settings/content/sensors

    Of course—most fortunately!—is it still possible to build sites just using and . As much as I dislike that’s even a question do I like that peers like remind our field that the foundation’s still there. Keep it simple. (Bonus: 🤷‍♂️)

    I re-built my personal site using just HTML, CSS and nothing else, just to see if that’s possible in 2019 and it turns out it totally is 🤷‍♀️
