    Flights are still landing at following the earthquake. The airport is operating as an uncontrolled field currently which, while unusual for a major airport, is something all pilots train for.

    This is due to strong earthquake occurring a short time ago.

    Ground stop for all aircraft headed through the Anchorage ARTCC until at least 1900 UTC. This includes both flights landing and overflights.

    Appears Frontier from Las Vegas to Tampa safely returned to Las Vegas shortly after departure this morning.

    WHOA! My aunt snapped this pic of a shredded engine on Frontier flight 260 from Vegas to Tampa. The plane was able to turn around and land. She says all passengers got a free breakfast voucher.
