    Literally the first result for “css vertically center” in DuckDuckGo in an incognito window (so my search history would not taint it).

    Follw-up: doing this is indeed easy with CSS now, with Flexbox. So, if you search "how to ___ with CSS" make fucking *certain* you include "with FlexBox" in the search or you'll get old, brittle solutions that'll make you hate your life, career, and Twitter decisions 🤣😑

    I deactivated Facebook a couple of months ago. I’ve been trying to train myself to not reflexively start typing, “faceb–“ into the address bar by donating to a charity each time I catch myself doing it. It’s shocking how frequently I caught myself doing it without thinking.
