Recording Text Incorrectly Masked
From ~1:30GMT to ~7:30GMT today, in any recordings that took place for customers who had keystroke capture turned off, all text fields were accidentally replaced with masking characters (****). Scheduled - On 2017-11-29 at 10:00 CET / 01:00 PST, our engineers will temporarily bring Hotjar into maintenance mode while we perform some infrastructural changes. All functionality will be restored by 2017-11-29 at 10:15 CET / 01:15 PST.

Why is this maintenance needed?

We're starting a big database migration and while the migration in itself is anticipated to be seamless the initial changes we need to do before require a small amount of downtime.
