Based on this picture and my knowledge of Jet Set Radio and SSX, Ichiro was the coolest dude in Japan in 2001.
My favorite Ichiro Japanese meme. I have no idea what it means or says its just tantalizing
Who says the 2000s didn't have culture
Everyone busy making sure the Y2K bug didn't infect their computers. Aint nobody got time for fashion, only comfort and convenience.
Wow. For a second I was wonder who the guy in the baggy jeans was, then it hit me.
Just glad it wasn't one of his slap infield singles that hit you
Those pants
The sheer amount of fakery Hollywood creates is astounding. It's amazing how much your eye can be fooled by the simplest of tricks.
You call it fakery I call it "Ignorant bliss magic"

He should donate his 2018 earnings to Sog awareness and research
Even with all $2M in incentives put towards Sog research you still don't make a dent
Great deal. Ichiro obviously doesnt care about the money at this point.
Wouldn't mind being in an employment situation making $750k base and $2M with performance and being able say "at this point in my career its obviously not about the money"
It's possible that the fifth we get is actually the one we sent to Philly for Tobin last season. I mean, not much more exciting, but it's something.
At this point I'm most intrigued about WR Marcus Johnson who I feel this trade was dependent on. He's a perfect fit for the Hawks WR scheme. 4.39 40 time, experienced a Super Bowl last year, coming off an injured year the year before so just getting back to full strength and motion. The Hawks have an eye for players like this and should have a unique role they will fit him into.
Is he essentially a PRich replacement, assuming that he played his way to a bigger contract than we can afford this year?
Think of a PRich + Strength and size. Both 6', both have blazing 40's, both can jump for the ball (37 and 38' vertical) but Marcus is 40 pounds heavier. As far as hands and route running we will see. He was undrafted so not enough there naturally out of college but as we saw with Dougy that means nothing once you're in the NFL. Home boy had 22 BP for a WR and is fast AF for his size so I'm all ears with what the Hawks do with him.
Everything's coming up Mariners!

"Mike we've seen the Hawks trade back before but here we are on the final day of the draft and Seattle has chosen to trade their 1st, 4th and all three of their 5th rounder picks and astoundingly are sole owners of all 32 of the 7th round picks"
The first picture looks like he had to borrow some of the guy on the left's clothes.
They were probably still too baggy for him
