Following in the spirit of the console subreddits, I'm doing my own little giveaway! Comment below which pc game you would like and at 1pm CST tomorrow, Feb 12, I'll pick a comment and give you your free game! (Up to $60, I ain't buying you Train Simulator + DLCs fam)

Welcome to the giveaway bandwagon! I feel it's against the spirit of the day to participate on the receiving end of these things as well as the giving, so don't put my name in the hat ;) That being said, thanks for spreading the joy of pc gaming with me!

Loot boxes that affect gameplay? Sure. But cosmetic loot boxes are fine
Depends what your goal is:
Do you want to make sure that your games are balanced? Sure I would agree
Do you want publishers and developers to stop taking advantage of the psychology of gambling, including encouraging children to gamble? Not so much. Any lootbox with something of perceived value for the consumer is gambling, psychologically speaking anyway.
They aren’t gambling because there is no risk. And loot boxes allow you to earn items without paying since they are tied to progression, buying skins out right is risky since players spend less and also hides all skins behind a pay wall.
Would be like over watch if you couldn’t earn any skins because they would have to be saved for paying customers
We know that people would spend less if they could buy the exact skin they wanted, but this is a complaint about the ethics involved in loot boxes. There is nothing stopping them from tying certain skins to progression as well, and then having a "premium" pool that you could only buy with microtransactions. It would be up to Activision-Blizzard and the Overwatch Team to decide how to ethically monetize the game. The randomization is the problem.

Based on the card I would go for a 3440x1440 display. Refresh rate 100Hz-ish. I'm not familiar with the market prices or what's a good deal, but using the filters on Amazon, BB, and Newegg should help get you started. Also, I would recommend looking to see if you can find a couple reviews on YouTube for the exact model you're thinking about getting, these things aren't cheap.
There aren't any that I'm aware of. I couldn't suggest anything other than Brazos that would be 100% no chance of getting towed. Meters are enforced till midnight on Fridays, then they start up again at 11am. Friday to Saturday is probably the busiest night by far downtown so that's just how it is.
I printed out the court petition/order from the Travis County website that is supposed to be a name and gender change form. However, when I went to court in Williamson County the judge told me that she had "no authority under the law" to change my gender when she looked at my court order, and she used whiteout on all the parts that mentioned gender change before signing it. Yet, all of the websites for the DPS, Social Security, Vital Statistics Unit, etc. require a court order for a gender change to happen in their respective systems. What gives? If she doesn't have the authority, who does? I appreciate any advice I can get on the matter.
