-So here's the original prompt (it didn't get a ton of attention, but I liked it) - https://www.reddit.com/r/WritingPrompts/comments/869nzp/wpinside_of_of_them_they_have_stars_from_that/
From the first two chapters, which were the reply to the prompt, the story continues to follow the main character as he tries to figure out just what his power is, does, and means.
It ended up being a lot longer than I thought, and technically I likely could have gotten two books out of it, but meh, maybe next time.
-Here's the book on Amazon (Only eBook for now, but I'm working on getting it available as paperback as well) - https://amzn.to/2CySrfo
The book starts with the prompt as a block quote, because it felt like it fit the mood of the story so well, and ends with me thanking the OP, and the WritingPrompt community.
I've been a writer for a long time, but never felt decent enough about what I've written to do anything with it. I just wanted to thank the WritingPrompt community because every time I submit a reply to a prompt, the praise, critique, and occasional demand for more has been a big driving factor for me to keep writing.
If anyone does end up reading it, I would love feedback (I am well aware it's not a masterpiece, so constructive criticism is golden). And if you do enjoy it, then know that I've already started the sequel.
Thanks all, you da best.
