	As NK talks continue, Defense Secretary Mattis "indefinitely suspended select exercises" on the Korean Peninsula, according to a Defense Department statement.  Those exercises include upcoming FREEDOM GUARDIAN exercise and two Korean Marine Exchange Program training exercises.

	North & South Korea will allow 100 people from each side, separated from their families during the Korean War, to meet in Mt. Kumgang Aug 20-26. Many families have been split across the border with little or no contact since 1953. 60 percent of those remainjng are 80 or older.

	There has been NO North Korean reaction so far to Tuesday’s summit between Kim Jong Un & President Trump. The last bulletin on North Korean State TV (KCTV) aired at approx 7aET Tues and reported Kim’s evening tour of Singapore on Monday, but did not mention today’s events.
