Completely agree. I felt very uncomfortable working next to magazines that put this kind of horrid poison on their covers.

Magazines like this should be banned. Toxic for the people in them and the people who read them. They add fuel to anxiety and eating disorders. It’s like inhaling poison. No excuse for body shaming now we know it can kill people.

Though it would be no bloody surprise if they didn't given how little traction young people's books get in our media.

It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy such talk. Only middle class people read books. Only middle aged people read books. Only women read books. Only white people read books. Nah. Everyone wants to read a book they feel is relevant or accessible to them. We shouldn’t shut doors.

Could we stop saying young people don’t read books? Young people read books. Young people share books. Young people go to book events. Young people are the most intensely passionate readers out there. Yes young people use social media. But they use it to talk about books.

Activists are blocking the entrances to BP’s London HQ. They have set up camp inside specially designed containers. BP can’t continue as if it’s business as usual in this we’re in.

So tonight I went to Bath on my own and watched Matt Haig talk about mental health and our modern world. Anyone who knows me will understand how much of a big deal it is for me to have gone on my own and I’m so glad I did! Thank you

Managed nothing more productive than a shower & clean pjs today. I've over analysed every mistake I made yesterday that no one else will know about. I hate this level of anxiety but I am so grateful to have amazing support. And for this mantra:

spoke brilliantly this eve at the Bath Festival about & how much our MH is influenced by the current state of the world. Key takeaways: don’t compare yourself to others, don’t overload your brain every day, help others, and remember to stop✋🏻and breathe🙂

Voting makes a difference. No matter how bored you are over Brexit, go out and vote. Any vote for Farage on Thursday won’t be seen by him as a protest but as support for his brand of far-right U.K. politics. The more votes against him, the greater the chance of stopping him.
