Blood can be stored for only a limited time before use. That is why there is a constant need for blood supplies. We need to ensure that safe blood is available whenever and wherever it is needed. !

Why should you ? It's because safe blood saves lives and improves health. An adequate and reliable supply of safe blood can be assured by a stable base of regular, voluntary, unpaid blood donors.

was in the 1950s the most important cause of blindness in Ghana. By the 1990s, the disease was known to persist as significant public health problem in the Northern & Upper West Africa Regions. 🇬🇭 has eliminated it now. Congratulations!
