Mental health shouldn’t just be an extra school subject, it should be the lens through which we re-structure school itself. What’s more important than a child’s wellbeing?

We’re delighted to hear Shadow Health Secretary highlight the first 1,001 days of babies’ lives in his speech this morning – we know what a huge difference this would make 😊

The ACES Movement has lots of drums beating within it at the moment. One of those is the “Its about scoring” drum. Another is the “Its about more than scoring” drum. It will be better for our childrn if the drummers can find a common rhythm, rather than turning it into a contest.

Good article by raising important points about why an understanding of childhood adversity should not just sit with professionals. It is important public health information where everyone has a part to play and where debate is important.

"In Croydon, a review was undertaken of the 60 serious violence cases among young people... a factor that affected every case was the lack of a trusted adult." An example of how imp. an always available adult can be for resilience. Thank you

What I value about the grassroots ACES Movement are the stories of insight that are pouring out. When people say that ACES info has improved their life, you can’t argue with their story, because they are the expert there.
