Five State Security agents in violently attacked and detained Eduardo after he publically criticized Fidel Castro in a radio interview. In a sham trial, he was sentenced to 3 years in jail where he sustained severe injuries and was denied proper medical care.

On October 5, President Trump signed into law the bipartisan Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization Act of 2018, which includes a number of key reforms to protect the rights of airline passengers with disabilities and provide equal access to air travel.
