Lovely session listening to residents of Little Chell, Stanfield, Mill Hill this AM with MP. Great discussions - from the lovely lady who's lived on the same street for 64 years - amazing stories - to the kind family inviting me into their home for a chat.

I don’t understand the combative response to ’s attempt to make sure that antisemitism complaints are properly followed up. He’s an NEC Officer and he’s trying to restore confidence in the process. Is there something to hide?

My colleague spoke powerfully in Parliament today on the plight of the people of Kashmir and the need to work towards a future of peace, security and self-determination for the region.

Chris Williamson has produced a long-winded and heavily caveated apology. It is not good enough. If it was in my gift I would have removed the whip from him already.

Chris Williamson's actions are unacceptable and he is unfit to represent the Labour Party. If Jeremy Corbyn is serious about being an ally in the fight against antisemitism on the left then he must act now. The whip must be withdrawn immediately.

Slashing import tariffs in the event of a No Deal Brexit could be davastating for our ceramics industry. and I have written about the danger posed to the Potteries by the Government’s proposals:

Together, and I set out why any plans to unilaterally move to slash import tariffs in the event of ‘no deal’ could be devastating for the resurgent Ceramics industry. Both the and have made similar warnings.

✂️ So last week, these Tory MPs voted to cut £1.3bn of government grant to English councils. Now the Tories want to remove ‘deprivation’ from the funding formula. Look at the spending power cuts since 2010: don’t they see the damage they’re doing to their own areas?

Dogs Trust has been investigating the cruel trade since 2014, but sadly it is still as big a problem today as it was then. Thank you for pledging to help bring an end to these cruel practices once and for all
