This is what happens when a country’s leaders—especially its president—lie, spew hateful rhetoric & conspiracy theorizes, & denigrate immigrants.

I’m reminded of what Dr. King said after four little girls were murdered in an Alabama church: “we must be concerned not merely about who murdered them, but about the system, the way of life, the philosophy which produced the murderer.”

From multiple assassination attempts to the shooting & murder of 11 at a Jewish synagogue, my soul weeps & mourns. I grieve over the lives lost & the attempts on life, as well as the ugly rhetoric of hate, racism & anti-Semitism.

Nationalism suggests a commitment to one country to a fault. Patriotism is a love for country that is willing to call it to question & challenge its flaws.

Touting job numbers while you ignore climate science is like bragging that your car can run at 160mph while you drive it off a cliff.

If Trump wants to say he’s a nationalist, let’s be clear what nationalist policy looks like: cutting health care, attacking women & immigrants, suppressing votes. If these are the policies you want, Trump will tell you who to vote for. If not, then we’ve got to vote against them.

Voter suppression in the United States is not dead and our generation must take up the fight to stop it.

Read this, my friends, & be angry. There are far more people who chose not to vote in 2016 than who voted for either party. Let’s get to work—call, Tweet, message, canvass & go to the polls w/ everyone you know.

All they really care about is tax cuts for the wealthy & power. These people will say anything & tell any lie just to get elected.

Ted Cruz said Trump was a coward & liar; Trump talked about Cruz’s mother & father. But now the 2 are together. So what’s the truth? Ted was lying, Trump was lying or both are lying b/c neither really cares about poor & working people.

NC has cut 20% of early voting sites this year; now extremists want voters to pass amendments that would make it easier to suppress more votes. Listen to former GOP & Dem governors explain.

Folks analyze Trump’s insults, but the real issue is the people who applaud him & the politicians who uphold him. Vote, people, vote! Forget his crazy tweets & go help someone make a voting plan. We can elect every member of the House & change the US Senate.

I wish all the so-called “liberal media” would ask every Republican what they would be saying if Obama had acted like Trump, then expose their hypocrisy with old videos.
