But be aware that your performance will be held up as a victory by the Israeli state. Eg: When played in Israel last year messages of congratulation were posted on twitter from 13 Israeli diplomatic accounts, 15 Israeli lobby groups and 5 far-right outlets in the US.

However: 1. In Israel, a de-facto apartheid state, 4.4m Palestinians are literally not allowed to travel to the stadium. 2. Trump would not be able claim that or performing in the US is an endorsement of his policies. 2/4

If playing in the US was held up by Trump as supporting him, then yes. The way musicians are used by the Israeli govt for propaganda means the closer equivalent is playing an inauguration or fundraiser. Eg. Look at how the state used Radiohead's gig

Completely agree. We were asked to perform at this exact festival in Israel and gladly turned it down. Israel should not be seen as an ‘international arts hub’ by the rest of the world.

I played In Israel many years ago, before I was clued up on the situation. I would never play there now. I would urge some of these people to have a look at the situation before going. Not judging because I did it myself. Just saying know what the political situation is like
