Imagine if the Trudeau Liberal government spent the billions of public dollars & time they put towards buying, defending & approving the pipeline, into investing in the low carbon economy we legitimately need now? Maybe we'd actually be climate leaders.

How a Prime Minister and a government can maintain they’re protecting our environment when they continuously find new and creative ways to gift billions of dollars to oil barons is a level of delusion otherwise thought impossible.

Canadian retiree groups lobbied this week to give pension plans priority in corporate insolvency and for the creation of a national pension insurance plan. The Seniors Minister speaks of finding “evidence based” solutions but has consistently ignored these groups’ suggestions.

After months of ⁦⁩ pressure the Libs are finally indicating they won’t ratify the new without Steel & Aluminum tariffs removed. This is the right move and I hope they solidify this position now for workers and business who are suffering.

Explosive new docs reveal the Libs are offering a $2bn subsidy to companies moving oil on the Trans Mountain pipeline. Trudeau is also breaking his promise to review climate impacts. When will this government stop bailing out corporate friends & start fighting climate change?

When Jody Wilson Raybould went to speak to her former cabinet colleagues left her sitting outside the door for two hours while he dithered about the "optics." He then said he is disappointed in her. This is not acceptable.

Last night in the House of Commons I called on the federal government to make rural digital infrastructure a priority in the 2019 budget. Let's end the digital divide, rural Canadians deserve no less!

Every day, I meet people who work hard but just can't get ahead. These pressures didn't happen by accident – for decades, decisions made in Ottawa have put the ultra-rich above everyday Cdns. If we want different results we need to make a different choice.

"Privilege and confidentiality are not mine to waive and I hope that I have the opportunity to speak my truth." Mr. Trudeau has the power to waive both. People need to know why this Liberal government is helping their friends instead of your families.
