After Max Rose's upset victory in his Staten Island/south Brooklyn district, 24 of the 25 House districts with the largest Jewish populations are now controlled by Democrats. The exception: Chris Smith in NJ-04, which contains Lakewood.

Our industry seems to have slid backwards in its overall lack of support for new parents. But many news orgs, like mine, are small (in our case, not-for-profit.) Only way for us to do better is a national policy. If our nation truly cared about all families.
