The budget is for Traveller specific accommodation which provides day houses & caravan bays for Travellers who live nomadic lives. For those Travellers who do not want to live nomadically they join the standard housing list. The budget was always small but now is tiny.

We know a little about people who vote at some general elections/referendums (thanks @RTÉ @UCD @TCD @UCC @DCU @Oireachtas) but nothing about people who don’t vote in last decade. If politicians genuinely concerned by vote trends, then maybe they could fund some research.

Papers full of speculation about presidential voting patterns. Here is a fact: there is no national funding for research on elections or referendums in Ireland. Not from @IrishResearch or @HousingPress We are a total anomaly among our Euro neighbors.
