Yes he was decent enough but his dad’s reputation over shadowed - bit like Strachan and Dalglish’s sons. A tough shift to have such a towering father.

I know he plays for Deportivo - not much else. Scottish commentators would be woeful I agree. but that’s like saying Italian game shows are shit so that justifies us doing shit game shows. My point is simple I want better analysis and not mono-obsessed on EPL

Equally, you can aspire to better television match analysis and not be racist. I’m not part of the 90% but I pay 100% of my licence fee. The match analysis has been poor and often disinterested in other footballing cultures.

I agree there’s many more important things to worry about but I’m keen on football development - and want to know where players emerged from not their glamour ratings.

Glasgow is one of C4’s biggest suppliers of shows. C4 doesn’t have a licence to make programmes for Scotland - that’s BBC Scotland. It has a remit to reflect diversity of like across U.K. cf Derry Girls, Educating Yorkshire, Trainspotting 2. Could we do more from Scotland. Yes.
