Gasoline shortage in Mexico has police forces looking for alternative transport: the bicycle. 250 police officers will be patrolling eastern Mexico City by bicycle the coming days, known for being the most traffic congested place on earth.

Most Dutch people no longer remember how extraordinary their infrastructure (including the red asphalt) is. But it's stunning to visitors. It's like the whole country has rolled out a "red carpet" for cyclists. Everywhere.

As of April 2019, will ban mopeds on the cycle paths throughout most of the city centre! First indications state that this will reduce serious traffic casualties with 261 per year.. ❌🛵
