Headquartered in San Francisco, Bugsnag provides software teams with an automated crash detection platform for their web and mobile applications.
To date, Bugsnag has processed over 10 billion application crashes from thousands of top technology companies, including Square, OpenTable, StubHub. CBS Interactive, GitHub and Slack.
Bugsnag Inc. was founded by James Smith and Simon Maynard, and launched in September 2012.

James has a track record of building successful products. As CTO of Heyzap, James led the product team and helped scale the company to over 10 million users.

Simon has over ten years experience in product development, engineering and management, helping tech giants such as Vodafone, Thales, and Swiss Re build and scale their business-critical applications.

Lead Product Designer
Equal parts front-end engineer and designer, Max brings his deep expertise in product design and interactive data visualization to Bugsnag.

Community and Content Manager
Kristine enjoys crafting marketing strategies that help tell a story. She spends her days developing content to share with the Bugsnag community.

Senior Software Engineer
Keegan's diverse background ranges from working on developer tools and backend performance at Goodreads, to working for Fortune 500 companies, startups, and nonprofits.

Chris Kotars
Strategic Sales Manager
Chris’ sales career began in college when he and his twin brother sold competing advertising products door-to-door to local businesses, all while sharing the same car. He's since become passionate about helping customers improve their products and take advantage of modern technologies.

Office Manager
Nicole has been an office manager for 12 years at various startups. She focuses on onboarding and helping the Bugsnag office run smoothly.

Lead Backend Engineer
Martin is an experienced backend engineer who hails from New Zealand. He's also a certified ski instructor.

Lead Frontend Engineer
Emily is into wooden boats, web performance, javascript architecture, client-side metrics, and large code bases.

Adrian Martinez
Events Marketing Associate
Adrian tackles all things related to events and the Bugsnag booth, helping us create genuine experiences. He's also responsible for Bugsnag's amazing swag.

Delisa Mason
Lead Open Source Engineer
Delisa handles all things open source for Bugsnag, working on supporting our notifiers, documentation, and fixing bugs. She's also a master Mario Kart player, and used to play competitively.

Duncan Hewett
UK Engineering Team Lead
Duncan has worked on engineering projects of all shapes and sizes, from independent prototypes to 50-person efforts for both government and private sector organizations. He now heads up our engineering team in Bath.

William Starling
Senior Software Engineer
William loves solving problems, building software in Java (he's been doing it for nine years), and is a big Linux fan. He's also interested in entomophagy, the practice of eating insects.

Mike Bull
Senior Software Engineer
Mike has ten years of experience in software development, mostly working on Java web applications. Outside of Bugsnag, Mike does cryptic crossword puzzles, and plays board games and racquet sports.

Ben Ibinson
Senior Software Engineer
Ben is a software developer at heart, and has tried his hand at almost everything over the years. From creating iOS and Android native apps, to debugging C in embedded systems (painfully)!

Dave Perryman
Senior Software Engineer
Dave has been a developer for ten years, even building his own Android application and PHP websites on the side. When he's not coding, you can find him keeping active and hanging out with his adorable daughter.

Roger Topp
VP of Sales
Roger loves the Chicago Cubs, his family, golf, coffee, and startups. He's scaled 26 peaks on 3 continents, and has even ridden a motorcycle through Italy, Spain, and France!

Gosia Spurway
UK Office Administrator
Originally from Poland, Gosia's 2009 vacation to the UK quickly became a permanent move after she fell in love with everything English. She loves traveling and Italian food, and even worked for Jamie Oliver for over four years.

Christian Schlensker
Frontend Engineer
Christian has the most varied list of hobbies, from board games to complicated movie plots, foreign languages and more. He first fell in love with programming taking HTML while studying to become a graphic designer.

George Kontridze
Production Engineer
George is orginially from the Republic of Georgia and can speak four languages. He loves dancing to electronic music and works on Bugsnag's infrastructure and internal tools.

Jason Seats
Jason Seats is the Managing Director of Techstars in Austin. Prior to joining Techstars, Jason was a founder of Slicehost, an early cloud computing hosting company. In 2008 Slicehost was acquired by Rackspace and became the core for the initial Cloud Servers product.
