My long thread about being blocked and then unblocked by Trump, formatted a bit more nicely for the n00bs:

Saying "morally we don't accept homosexuality as a valid sexual relationship" is homophobia. Cheering on someone who stands outside a school with a megaphone shouting that children aren't safe with a gay teacher is homophobia. I do not understand how there is ambiguity about this

If you aren’t prepared to have LGBT kids don’t have kids. The end

  4. Really interested in this graph mapping type of alcohol consumption to high/low turnout and Republican/Democrat leaning as prepared by - and also fascinated that the original tweets from him seem to have disappeared from Twitter completely. Wonder why.

The only way I can explain Theresa May to myself is that she has no friends whatsoever. Any mate on the planet would have told you by now to give it a rest. There would have been interventions.

Theresa May tells the British People ‘I’m on your side” ...which side is that? Leave, Remain, or Resign?

Trump seems really nervous about the Mueller report, but he might just be anxious that he'll have to read something.

The ability of Corbyn to come out of any given dreadful day looking even worse than May is really something.

“MPs said they believed May’s speech blaming her colleagues for the impasse had been counterproductive. “It might be true but you don’t bloody say it,” one former minister said. Another MP accused her of 'acting like President Trump'."

Always forget how much fun trademark applications can be, particularly when you're probably going to have to do four of them.

British papers have misinformed the British public again by claiming this person is being investigated by the police for 'misgendering' someone. No media outlet bothered to published the actual tweets, which contain allegations of serious misconduct and spiteful personal attacks.

Don Trump Jr is still probably not the stupidest person ever to have been given a column at the Telegraph because of their dad

Your kids already know that gay people exist, you silly, silly homophobes. The presence of LGBTQ in education makes them safer, smarter and more confident in themselves. You might as well ask maths to avoid the number 3, or biology to categorically deny the existence of eyebrows

Pundits who are implying that eliminating the Electoral College is some sort of radical position should check the polls. Most people support a Constitutional amendment to change to a popular vote.

And if your faith, whatever it is, doesn’t agree with that, I just don’t care. I don’t believe in your faiths but I learned about them at school and was taught to be respectful of our differences. You can do the damn same thing for LGBT people.

Schools 100% should tell their students about LGBT issues, schools should absolutely make it clear you can’t catch being gay, that gay kids need to be treated the same as everyone else, that homophobia in schools is as unacceptable as racism.

I protested section 28 as a student, fought for an equal age of consent and still speak out about the horrors that confront LGBT kids - twice as likely to attempt suicide, twice as likely to succeed, 25-40% of homeless youth are LGBT, 90%+ hear daily homophobic abuse.

That teacher, by the way, *still* teaches at that school thirty years later, and I routinely wonder if he’s still saying things like this. It created an atmosphere where gay kids lived in fear and where being gay was always an insult or an attack.

I thought at the time, “how brave that kid must have been to stand up in front of his schoolmates and teachers and said that”. And I sat there as a gay kid, absolutely quiet. Two other kids I now know we’re gay kept their mouths shut too.

When I was at school, a geography teacher told a whole class a homophobic joke. Everyone laughed. And then he said the previous year someone in the class stood up and said, “what’s wrong with being gay”. And everyone laughed again.
