    I’ve had the same xp. I apply for FE roles and have had managers tell me they’re concerned if I’m a good fit bc I might need to write “real code” or do DB queries or write an API. Just bc I love FE doesn’t mean I can’t code it all 🙄

    thanks for this. I have felt that the front end is seen as women's work - I say I do ui/ux and no one realizes I have a CS degree. I can't get my team to hire other FE people. at one point it was 1 FE (me) and 6 BE people. we're "full stack".
