    Yes! Most of the products under the Springer Nature are marked up with . Our pages get consumed by other sources and Schema allows those pages to be parsed correctly. Take a look at any item on Springer Link as an example.

    My experience is microformats add too much friction to markup, copy changes, template & style refactorings. The last couple projects I worked on switched to We saw negative search engine impact with malformed microformats, so I think they still work.

    I'm still using it (on side projects mostly) and it looks like it's all properly parsed in the Search Console (page the reference from there ), not sure how that affects the ranking in 2018 though

    As someone who has dabbled, a serious question: to what end? For personal enjoyment? To position yourself as a Thought Leader for speaking gigs? Padding the résumé?I'm interested in motivation. Why do it?
