    My coworker decided to install Linux (Void) on his work laptop. Several hours later and we still don't have working video. Fun times. I'm glad he's getting the full Linux experience. Welcome to Linux, kid.

    This guy at work is facing 331° for his evening prayer. I calculated the correct heading between 37.412041, -121.929226 and 21.422506, 39.826272 to be 163.5° so he's off by ~167°. His prayer is going to miss Mecca by thousands of km.

    I don't get why so much is being made of the House panel's "entirely preventable" wording regarding the Equifax breach. Virtually all incidents are entirely preventable. I can't even imagine what an incident that wasn't "entirely preventable" would look like.

    Finished engraving. This incredible pattern from put the through it's paces but it came out great. The right side wasn't supposed to end up off the board... But I went with it and it gives a great depth detail.

    Random shower thought: I wonder why “blockchain” soared into the hype stratosphere while fully homomorphic encryption barely escaped the cryptography nerd bubble? Is it because people don’t “get” FHE while everyone thinks they know everything about money?

    When I flew a jar of this stuff to give I anticipated TSA stupidity and labeled accordingly. I wasn’t expecting to accidentally lose my vials, or the stupidity of the 7-11 attendant sniffing an unknown red powder in a ziplock bag.
