    PACE loans also get priority over others debts, w/ the taxman serving as debt collector. The PACE lender gets its taste before federal finance agencies or anyone else. No other loan can do this.

    PACE loans are odd b/c the lender doesn’t have to confirm you make enough money to afford the loan. They just check the value of your home. Can’t come up w/ the money later? That’s OK. You’ll lose your home & the PACE lender will take its cut from the sale price.
