    I also think it’s crucial to balance away from club music when not in the clubs or making the radio show. DnB, chillout or silence for 95% of the non working time.

    Haven’t in 10 years. But buying / sorting / editing music for a 2 hour weekly radio show was far more valuable for quality long set live shows. Learning what songs worked well and where they would fit vibe wise was the practice I guess. But it’s more preparation than practice.

    How many working DJs on here practice their craft at home? How many don’t have the time or lack some passion because they’re on the road too much? I’m not here to judge anyone, I’m just wondering.
