Our 8th graders have been keeping busy this week in the nation's capital. See photos of them here participating in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and visiting the Marine Corps Memorial as the flag is raised.

EWS 7th grader Elliot C. requested to give a talk to his classmates about Egyptian mythology - a subject he is passionate about. He created a PowerPoint and an accompanying oral presentation - all on his own time!

The EWS Robotics Club entered two teams in the TCEA Area 4 Robotics Competition last weekend, and both teams competed well! One team won first place, and will be moving on to the state competition in a few months.
