We did issue your refund on 21 April, but banks have their own internal processes they follow before that refund will show in your account. Usually this takes about 10 business days, but especially with non-US banks it can sometimes take longer.

Please try following up with your bank directly. You can give them the transaction ID from our payment processor which appears in your refund receipt as a reference.

That domain is not on our system any more. Cancelled domains are not released immediately, but this particular domain appears to have been released about 12 hours ago.

That said, it might not immediately show as available at all registrars. The APIs registrars use to check on the availability of domains limit them in how often they can check, so all registrars cache information on domain availability. That means it can often be a day or to after a domain becomes available before it will show as available at a registrar.

Try contacting GoDaddy and ask if there's a way they can check manually for this domain, otherwise you might need to wait another day or two before you can register it with them.

We do not have any monthly payment options for WordPress.com plans, as @justjennifer said and as indicated on the pricing page.

Can you perhaps remember where? Jetpack plans can be purchased as a monthly subscription, rather than yearly, but I'm not aware of any WordPress.com marketing efforts that mention monthly pricing. If there is marketing like that out in the wild it is most likely in error.

As our volunteers have pointed out, redandwhiskey.com is NOT a WordPress.com site. You are able to manage that site via your WordPress.com account because it's connected here with the Jetpack plugin, but that site is using the self-hosted WordPress.org software.

If you have a full backup of your site, you should be able to restore it by first setting up a new WordPress install with Bluehost, and then using a tool like Filezilla to upload your backup to that site via FTP/SFTP. Bluehost support should be able to help you with that.

The backup of your site cannot be uploaded at WordPress.com, and we don't have access to Bluehost's servers to help you with this.

I also see only the two sites @fstat mentioned, and both of them are definitely public. If you or your friend are getting private site notices, please try clearing your browser cache. If you'd previously tried to access the site while it was still private your browser might be "remembering" that and showing you what's in its cache instead of checking for new information on the site.

You have your site set to use the mobile theme, not Rowling's mobile view. The mobile theme uses the Primary Menu, but rowling doesn't have a Primary Menu area, only top header and bottom header, so the mobile theme uses the social menu instead.

If you switch off the mobile theme, the bottom header menu you have set will display instead. With a responsive theme like Rowling you don't need to activate the mobile theme - that's intended only for older themes that aren't already responsive.

I only see one published post on your site and it doesn't appear to be using the more tag. Did you remove it again?

To use the tag, position the cursor at the end of the section you want to appear in the posts list, and press Enter to create a new line. Then add the more-tag, on it's own line after the excerpt. If you want an image in the excerpt, make sure it also appears above the more-tag.

Note that the more tag will also influence whether subscription emails will contain the full post or just the excerpt.

With your theme you also have the option to use automatic excerpts. Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes. Then click on Content Options. You can set your site to display automatic excerpts on the blog page there.

Now one thing you can do is, the files you have, you can just temporarily transfer it to a hosting company with any domain, not necessarily the main domain, even on temporary domain, you can transfer the files there and get it running there possibly, you might need some assistance from WordPress org Support
